Cut Healthcare Costs

One bold move could reduce health-care costs drastically. Eliminate the the lobbying costs , ("upward of $1.4 million dollars per day"), and the 7-figure + bonus + options/perks revolving board. Eliminating the $1.4 mil/day & CEOs & board cut, would cut a round $2mil/day ($700mil/yr) of waste out of the system. "But, we don't want gov't bureaucracy between us n' our doctors!" What? The health insurance industry isn't a bureaucracy? The health insurance industry has become all the bureaucracy + the "auto-refusal" worst of both worlds, mix of big biz and big gov. I, for one, would take the big gov version. Throw it in there with the rest of my taxes, at a rate proportional to my earnings. Cut the military budget until health-care comes in at a break-even-to-the-taxpayer, and everybody's happy.
