Nero Update

The White House has responded to this widely circulated photo of President Bush, Michael Chertoff and Michael Brown fiddling as New Orleans was catastrophically flooded, claiming it is a hoax. Our experts are unable to conclude if it is indeed a doctored image. Their claim is substantiated however, by numerous photos of the President actually learning to play the guitar at a hootenanny while thousands died in New Orleans, with hundreds of witnesses present, who have agreed to testify on the President's behalf. "He was hootenannyin', not fiddlin'!" said one eye-witness, who seemed to echo the sentiments of the group. Vice President Dick Cheney is reported to have been in a secure, undisclosed location, with no witnesses, and, he asserts, no beer.
