Global Warming Bummer

(Roiders, May 27, Maui) "Dude, I thought 'global warming' meant like 'Endless Summer,'" was the recurring theme at Maui's north shore this morning, as surfers showed up ready for the beach's famous waves. "Bummer," was the universal attitude, as the usual waves were replaced by ice-floes drifting in from the rapidly breaking-up polar caps. It was boards being resecured to Hummer roof-racks as dejected surfers packed it in and headed home to await a better day.

The Colbert Award


It's pronounced "Colbear Awar," and the First Annual awarding of the Colbert Award goes to Stephen Colbert for the big set of solid brass ones he showed at the annual White House Press Corps Dinner.
